When news that one of our own Moms is battling cancer and a fundraiser was planned, the Outlaws turned out in droves to apply their "Kick the C out of Cancer" mantra to a "Strike the C out of Cancer" bowling fundraiser event. Many thanks to the Outlaws who "Paid it Forward".  Thoughts and continued support to Kim, Jeff, Brooke, and Paige.

16U Schultz - Pay It Forward

The 16U Schultz team has learned that teamwork on the field brings home championships. However, some of their greatest achievements happen when they take part in their community team with the Michigan Outlaws' Pay It Forward program. Giving their time and talents to The Miracle League of Michigan, and ringing bell for The Salvation Army have given them a greater feeling of victory than any achieved on the field.

10U Sherrill - Pay It Forward

1.  We made cards to send to Joshuah for Johsuah's Journey.  He is a local boy undergoing a severe trial treatment for his terrible cancer since chemo is no longer working.  He is 5 years old and can't have any human contact while on this treatment.  He likes to get mail!  We helped him out!!

2.  We donated 5 chemo care bins to Children's Hospital for kids and their families undergoing chemo treatment.  We bought the bins and filled them.

10U McKissick - Pay It Forward

The Michigan Outlaws 10U McKissick team volunteered as part of their "Pay-It Forward" initiative at the Gleaners Food Bank.  During their time there they were to help put together back packs that would be taken home by school students for the weekend.  Gleaners helps 38 schools in our community and supplies 100 back packs per school.  The goal for the team was to put together 300 back packs, not only did the team overcome this goal they were able  to complete 700 back packs in their time at Gleaners.  This will help 700 students in our community.  Great job girls!
