10U Outlaws wins ASA Preseason Classic


The 10U Outlaws won their 2nd consecutive Championship of the season taking the title at the ASA Preseason Classic tournament in Maumee, OH. They went 6-1 on the weekend to finish out the three day tournament, scoring a total of 67 runs and only allowing 12 runs in 7 games. In the Championship game the Outlaws beat the Devils 14-6. The girls came out strong in the first inning scoring the first run, then opening up the game with 6 more in the 2nd inning. The Devils team did not lay down and start ed chipping away at the lead to get within one run 7-6, when in the 5th inning the Outlaws scored 4 more runs, and then 3 more runs in the top of the 7th to finish the game winning 14-6. The girls came out hitting, bunting and never stopped giving their all - strong pitching kept the game in check. It was a combined team effort and the girls played to win. And win they did, their 2nd consecutive Championshop of the season! Way to go girls...

Outlaws 10U Wins NSA Almost Summer Tournament

After qualifying in 3rd place on Saturday with a record of 2-1, coming into Brackets on Sunday the Outlaws 10U would need to win 3 games to become Champions.    The first bracket game of the morning was against Madness Blue, the Outlaws 10U team won their first bracket game by a score of 17-4.  The second bracket game was against the #2 qualifier Ice Black, after losing to Ice Black (4-1) on Saturday, the Outlaws 10U team pulled it together with a very close battle coming out on top with the win.  Final score was 2-0.  The finals put Outlaws 10U against the #1 qualifier Michigan Pride.  Hard fought battle by both teams and in the end Outlaws 10U came out on top with a victory over Michigan Pride.  Final score was 5-2.   
Congrats to the Outlaws 10U team, they played hard and played to win.  Way to go girls!

Outlaws Volunteer at Gleaners

The Michigan Outlaws 10u, 12u, 14u and 16u teams joined together volunteering their time again at Gleaners Community Food Bank.


"Thank you so much for bringing your group to Gleaners on 4/5/14!  We were very impressed by your dedication to serving our hungry neighbors.  You sorted 8,000 lbs of food which equates to 6,667 meals!  We hope you enjoyed your experience and would love to have you out again."
